your rights to clean land
As part of the Ironbound Community Corporation (ICC), Ironbound Justice is deeply involved in the fight against land pollution in Newark and its surrounding areas. Recent data from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shows that Newark is dealing with more than 50 hazardous waste sites and over 100 contaminated brownfields, highlighting the seriousness of the problem.
But we're not backing down. Working closely with residents, businesses, and government agencies, We are taking action to tackle land pollution head-on. We're cleaning up contaminated sites, restoring the environment, and pushing for stronger regulations to prevent future pollution. Through community initiatives and educational programs like our EJ Tours and Down Bottom Farms, we're empowering people to make a difference in protecting our land for future generations. Together, we're fighting for a cleaner, healthier Newark.
